change.
By 1968 they had all been assassinated. They gave their lives here for
Freedom. So, America was in the middle of a Tragic time and struggle to
make the Constitution apply to all Americans as it was originally written.
So,when the Government could not get enough Americans to Volunteer to go fight their Crazy War in Vietnam they created a Military-Service-Lottery-Draft signed into law in the Summer of 1969. Lyndon B. Johnson was President.
'Forgotten Heroes' is the story of the 'Miller-Family' and the effect this law would have on all American families with the lives of innocent young 'American Sons and Daughters' who would become a part of over 58,138 'FORGOTTEN HEROES'. That is not all our Country lost by sending them to a WAR that has never been anything but a total waste of our Nations finest. We lost what they would have given to this world that we will never know. But were wasted in a WAR with absolutely no proof of any kind that we should have been there in the first place.
With all the dreams and all the potential for such tragedy and loss. We will take a journey that will lead us to a historic moment. Dorothy Miller will speak for the hundreds of millions of Mothers who have NEVER BEEN HEARD. They too are the 'Forgotten Heroes'.
And when all is said and done we will be once more aware that we all need to do what we can to make sure when our Country goes to War that it better be for a DAMN good reason or we don't go. That the past can be our best friend and teacher. And those that gave their lives in the name of GOD and Country will know we have not Forgotten them or what they would want us to do, what they would have done, if only, they knew, what we all know now.

Before you order a copy and read the Screenplay here is a Review from an Internet friend I have never met …accept through my film work on the Internet...I wanted an American who has a family and was interested in reading the screenplay...to tell me in his own words what he thought about the value of
'Forgotten Heroes'...
Awesome Screenplay Michael; the angles are brilliant. The characters easily draw you in to them; the messages are sublime. The best Vietnam story I have read....excellent piece.Michael, this is a great screenplay.Bring it to life. It would be the best movie about Vietnam ever.Because it's real, authentic, deals with outcomes; the aftermath in a way that's never been done before.
Its majestic in its innocence. I cried at the end. Very cool. I love it.

Hi Michael,I can see you are truly sincere about the emotions you put in your writing. I wonder if you had related life experience or just have strong sympathies/feelings for victims of the wars. Either way, I think your script 'FORGOTTEN HEROES' is great of its kind. And I can't agree more with your message.
Btw, I've seen The Hurt Locker and The Deer Hunter that's about similar topics. And those are great movies too. I Hope you can make this as well. It is equal if not better.
Sincerely,
Daniel He Wang
